Thuga Faisal Abdul Rasheed of Nolhivaranfaru won the second place in the Under 9 age group of the 34th National Quran Reading Competition. Thuga participated in the student team representing the H.A. Thuga was the only student to win a prize in the competition. Therefore, Thuga is described as the golden star of the province and a beautiful name and honor for the village. Upon her arrival in the village, she was warmly welcomed by the council, institutions and the public.
