The newly elected councilors of Nolhivaranfaru Council were sworn in and the Women's Development Committee members were sworn in. The swearing-in ceremony of the councilors and the acknowledgment of the members of the Women’s Development Committee was held on 17 May 2021 at 02:00 pm at the Nolhivaranfaru School. Nishan Abdullah Nadeem was elected as the President of the Nolhivaranfaru Council. The council members were Abdul Karim Abdul Rahman of Nolhivaranfaru Vaijege and Ahmed Vaheed of Roshanivila of Nolhivaranfaru. Zaheena Abdullah of Nolhivaranfaru East and Amina Mohammed of Nolhivaranfaru Alimas were elected for the women's seat. The elected members of the Nolhivaranfaru Women's Development Committee are Aminath Saeeda of Nolhivaranfaru, Amal Mohammed of Nolhivaranfaru, Aishath Ihsana of Nolhivaranfaru, Whitesnow of Nolhivaranfaru, Newlight Nasheeda of Nolhivaranfaru. The councilors were sworn in by Nolhivaranfaru Magistrate Court Magistrate Al-Ustaz Ali Ahmed. After the swearing-in ceremony, the first meeting of the 04th term of the Nolhivaranfaru Council and the first meeting of the Women's Development Committee were held. The first meeting of the 04th term of the Nolhivaranfaru Council elected the Vice-President of the Council. The vice-president of the council was Abdul Karim Abdul Rahman, H.D. Abdul Karim was elected as the vice-president by a majority of 4 votes. Noor Nazmina Ahmed of Nolhivaranfaru was elected as the President of the Nolhivaranfaru Women's Development Committee. Aishat Ihsana of Nolhivaranfaru Whitesnow was elected Vice President. Nazmina was elected president by a majority of 3 votes to 2 against Newlight Nasheeda Ahmed. Ihsana was elected vice-president by unanimous vote of the committee. This is the first time that a women's development committee has been formed by a national election.
